
RideIt Zero Tolerance Policy

The RideIt Driver Code of Conduct establishes the standards of behavior expected from all drivers representing the RideIt platform. These standards ensure safety, professionalism, and a positive experience for all passengers and community members.
1. Professionalism and Courtesy
Drivers must treat all passengers, staff, and other road users with respect and professionalism at all times.
Rude, aggressive, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.
Drivers must use appropriate language and maintain a polite demeanor throughout every trip.
2. Safety and Compliance
Drivers must obey all traffic laws and local regulations while operating a vehicle on the RideIt platform.
Seatbelts must be worn at all times by both driver and passengers.
Drivers must not engage in reckless driving, speeding, or distracted driving, including phone use while the vehicle is in motion.
All vehicles must pass required inspections and remain in safe operating condition.
3. Substance Use and Zero Tolerance
RideIt enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol.
Drivers must not operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substance that impairs their ability to drive safely.
Violations of this policy will result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
At the company’s discretion, RideIt may notify or cooperate with law enforcement authorities in
any incident involving suspected impairment, illegal activity, or endangerment of public safety.
4. Passenger Relations
Drivers must ensure that all passengers feel safe and comfortable.
Harassment, physical contact, or inappropriate comments toward passengers are strictly prohibited.
Drivers should assist passengers with boarding when needed and respect personal boundaries at all times.
5. Cleanliness and Vehicle Condition
Vehicles must be kept clean, odor-free, and well-maintained inside and out.
Drivers are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle meets RideIt’s vehicle eligibility standards at all times.
6. Trip Integrity
Drivers must complete all accepted trips as assigned through the RideIt app.
Unapproved pickups, cash transactions, or off-platform arrangements are strictly prohibited.
Cancellations should only occur for legitimate safety or operational reasons.
7. Confidentiality and Data Privacy
Drivers must respect the privacy of passengers and must not disclose, record, or misuse personal information obtained during trips.
All RideIt app and platform data are confidential and may not be shared outside the company.
8. Reporting and Accountability
Drivers must report accidents, incidents, or policy violations immediately through the RideIt app or to company support.
Failure to report incidents or cooperate with investigations may result in suspension or termination from the platform.
