Rideit Privacy Policy

1. Who This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Rideit platform (“Platform”), including:

  • Riders – individuals who request or receive transportation through Rideit.

  • Drivers – independent contractors who provide transportation services on the Rideit platform.

  • Visitors – individuals who access our website or app without creating an account.

Throughout this policy, “you” refers to any user type listed above unless specifically stated as Rider-Only or Driver-Only.
“Rideit,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Rideit LLC.


2. Information We Collect

Riders

  •  Name, phone number, email address

  • Profile photo

  • Payment information

  • Preferred or saved locations

  • Feedback and support messages

Drivers

  • Name, contact details

  • Driver’s license details, insurance information, vehicle registration

  • Background check results

  • Bank info for payouts

  • Operating area preferences

Both Riders & Drivers

  • Messages to customer support

  • Ratings and feedback

  • Participation in promotions or referral programs

  • Uploaded documents or attachments

B. Information We Automatically Collect

  • GPS location (for pickups, routing, and 70-mile drop-offs)

  • Trip history (pickup, drop-off, distance, route, cost, timestamps)

  • Device information (model, OS, IP address, identifiers)

  • Usage activity (screens viewed, features used, time in app)

  • Cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar tracking technologies

  • Inferences drawn from usage patterns

C. Information From Third Parties

  • Background check providers (Driver-Only)

  • Local business promotion partners (if you opt in)

Riders

Drivers

4. How We Share Your Information
A. Rider–Driver Information Sharing
To complete trips:
Riders see Driver:

  • First name

  • Profile photo

  • Vehicle make, model, color, and license plate

  • Driver rating

Drivers see Rider:

  • First name

  • Pickup and drop-off locations

  • Rider rating

Phone numbers are not shared unless the user chooses to disclose them.
B. With Service Providers
We share information with:

  • Payment processors

  • Background check companies

  • Insurance partners

  • Customer support vendors

  • Mapping, routing, and analytics partners

  • Fraud and safety detection services

C. Legal Requirements
Information may be shared to:

  • Comply with applicable laws

  • Respond to subpoenas, warrants, or government requests

  • Protect user safety, property, or rights

  • Handle disputes or claims

D. Promotions & Partnerships
If you opt in:

  • Local business partners

  • Event partners

  • Referral and rewards program partners

We do not sell personal information.
E. Corporate Transactions
If Rideit is sold, merged, financed, or otherwise involved in a corporate transaction, your data
may be transferred as part of that process.


5. Data Retention & Security
We retain information as long as necessary for:

  • Operating the Platform

  • Legal, tax, or regulatory obligations

  • Safety and fraud prevention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures.
However, no system is completely secure.

 

Deletion of Your Personal Data

  •  Your personal data may be deleted upon request

  •  We respond to the request for deleting and transferring personal data submitted by an e-mail at ride@rideitrr.com within a month and specify the period of data deletion and transfer.

 

Transfer of Your Personal Data

 

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company’s operating offices and
in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this
information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your
state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may
differ from those from your jurisdiction.



6. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on applicable laws, you may be able to:

  • Access your personal data

  • Update or correct information

  • Delete your account (subject to retention requirements)

  • Opt out of marketing

  • Adjust device permissions (location, notifications, contacts)

  • Limit cookies or tracking technologies

  • Request a copy of your data

  • Opt out of certain data uses where legally required

Many choices can be managed within the app settings.


7. Children’s Privacy
Rideit is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.
We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from anyone under 18.
If we discover that someone under 18 has created an account or submitted personal data, we will delete that information and deactivate the account.


8. Third-Party Links
Our app and website may link to third-party websites or services.
Their privacy practices are separate and independent from Rideit’s.
We are not responsible for third-party privacy policies or practices.


9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically as Rideit evolves or laws change.
When we make updates, we will revise the “Last Updated” date and provide notice for major
changes.
Continued use of the Platform indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
