Driver Requirements

Minimum Requirements
● Minimum driving age: 25
● At least 3 years of licensed driving experience in the United States
● Must use an eligible 4-door vehicle

Required Documents
● Valid US driver’s license
● Proof of residency (city/state/province)
● Proof of vehicle insurance
● Driver profile photo

Driver Screening
After signing up, you will receive an email to complete your driver screenings. This will review your driving record and criminal history.

Driver Pre-Screening

To apply to drive with RideIt, complete the pre-screening form using the link provided below. This step allows us to review basic eligibility and interest.

 

Applicants who pass the pre-screening stage will be contacted to schedule an interview with a RideIt regional manager. During the interview, the driver screening process will be explained, including background check requirements, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reviews, and vehicle inspection standards.

 

Submitting the pre-screening form and completing an interview does not guarantee approval. RideIt drivers operate as independent contractors, and final approval is contingent upon meeting all eligibility and safety requirements.
