3.1 Role of Rideit
When you make a request for a ride, Rideit’s technology notifies nearby Independent Providers of the opportunity. Each Independent Provider is free to accept or decline any request. Once accepted, the Provider—not Rideit—is responsible for completing the trip or service.
Rideit does not control, operate, or manage the vehicles used by Independent Providers. We are not a transportation carrier, common carrier, or delivery company. Instead, we provide a technology platform that facilitates connections between riders and Independent Providers.
Independent Providers are not employees, agents, or representatives of Rideit. Any efforts by Rideit to promote safety, quality, or reliability—such as background checks or standards—do not create an employment or agency relationship. Each Provider acts on their own behalf and assumes full responsibility for their services, vehicles, and compliance with applicable laws.
3.2 Availability and App Stores
The Rideit app may be downloaded from third-party app stores such as Apple’s App Store or Google Play (“App Store”). These Terms are between you and Rideit, not the App Store. The App Store is not responsible for providing support or handling any claims related to the Rideit Services.
If you downloaded the app from Apple’s App Store, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them as such. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, these Terms will control.
